At Membrana, we love photobooks, monographies, zines, great texts and theoretical works. Alongside the reviews corresponding to our biannual thematic calls for papers and projects, we have also dedicated an open access online section specifically to reviews. We strive not only to present your works to our online readership, but also to include them in our Study Library, located in Ljubljana’s Jakopič Gallery.

Therefore we are looking for review copies you think would fit into the scope of our research, and also need to be presented to a wider audience! We have quite a team of expert reviewers, specialised in many fields of research. Selected publication will therefore get all the attention they deserve. For initial inquiries contact us via our online form, or just send the publications to our address here in Ljubljana. For theoretical texts with no visual content PDF format might suffice, but keep in mind we would also love to expand our Library. If you would like to donate your publication even without our review, we would be pleased to add it to our collection.

Upon receiving any publication, we need your contact information (e-mail and address), author’s biography, and – if possible – the official media package (photographs with exact captions and copyrights clearance). We always include information about the author and link to the official purchase site.

Looking forward to receiving your publication! Meanwhile, take a look at how our online reviews are structured here.
